I suggest you to make sure your JPalo database connection is well configured.
If JPalo uses Hsql (default), you can find the configuration file under \webapps\SpagoBIJPaloEngine\WEB-INF\classes\sql\hsql.
Try to check jdbcURL property, and if it is correct, check if stored data is correct.

Hey jorgemf.spw, how are you?
Yeah, dude! I'm sure that's configuration. You have to is go to URL: http://localhost:[put your server port here]/SpagoBIJPaloEngine/ and login with credentials located in [root apache tomcat]/webapps/SpagoBIJPaloEngine/WEB-INF/classes/deploy_it.properties. Make sure to that your [root apache tomcat]/webapps/SpagoBIJPaloEngine/WEB-INF/datasources.xml is properly configured.

In section "Olap Connections and Accounts" you'll find all configurations of all connections. You'll find out how to configure. It's easy.
As we say in Brazil: "é nóis!"

Another point: I tried to implement SpagoBI using apache tomcat 7 without success. There's a resource in apache 6 that is not exist in apache 7. I don't know how to explain now, but doesn't work indeed.

I hope helped you! Best regards.
