Hi,

I installed spagobi 3.0 and I think that I have configured all. But when I try to connect to:
http://localhost:8080/SpagoBI/ , I have this error:

An error has occurred. Retry later.
If the problems persists, contact the system administrator.

In log text I didn't find nothing about this error...
Maybe I missed something in configuration?
Thanks

Hi,

I have the same issue...
'An error has occured', even the login page is unavailable...

There is a bug in the scripts found here : http://forge.ow2.org/project/download.php?group_id=204&file_id=16928

I renamed HIBERNATE_SEQUENCES into hibernate_sequences and it works fine now !

Note to SpagoBI Developpers : there is a bug (https://www.spagoworld.org/jira/browse/SPAGOBI-623) which is NOT fixed !
Note to SpagoBI Developpers 2 : the Oracle scripts don't work neither !

Regards,
Geoffrey

There's a case issue in the script creating the MySql tables.

Probably you have the table hibernate_sequences in capital letters.

Open your mysql client and issue a command like

RENAME TABLE `SpagoBI`.`HIBERNATE_SEQUENCES` TO `SpagoBI`.`hibernate_sequences` ;

then restart SpagoBI.

Geoffrey, the bug 623 is closed

Please open a Jira bug for the errors on Oracle scripts

Thanks a lot

Hi,

I have been getting "java.lang.nullpointerexception spagobi exception"". I found that renaming Hybernate_Sequences might help fix this. My question is HOW DO I RENAME Hybernate_Sequences table. could not find that table. When I view the tables in MySQL WorkBench and HeidiSQL Editor, I can not see the the schema tables that have the Hybernate_Sequences. So, how do i rename it?

I have installed version 3.1 through All-in-One install. Everything works except on running a report, it throuws an error-"java.lang.nullpointerexception spagobi" exception". Can someone pl. help.

The issue is resolved. In ORA_create.sql, empty line above semicolon causes table hibernate_sequences not being created. Corrected the script and executed. Its working fine. Able to login to SpagoBI
