Hi Freek,
I've ubuntu 10.10 with openJDK-6 64-Bit and SpagoBI 2.6 installed, and I not have this problem.
Now I do some further testing

Monia
Hi Freek,
sorry but your information about this problem are not sufficient to understand exactly what is wrong.
To better understand I need to know:
Where is the Data Source?
Are you testing the connection with the Data Source?
Where is the JNDI name or the JDBC parameters?

Here you can find more information about configuring of data source and data set in SpagoBI.

https://wiki.spagobi.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/

bye
Monia
In the Detail Data Source window, enter you the JNDI name or the JDBC parameters?
In the tomcat/conf/server.xml you modify the url. The correct value is "jdbc:postgresql:spagobi".
Then enter the values of the previous post and try again the connection with the data base.
Try to set Type = Jndi and Jndi name = java:comp/env/jdbc/css.
Please, could you post the screenshot of the page with details on SpagoBI database configuration?
In the next version of SpagoBIBIRTEngine will upgrade version to 2.6.1. You wait for the new version, please.
Sorry, I did not understand.
When you add a BIRT report to SpagoBI, it's necessary to set a Title and a Nome. A Type is Report and a Engine (Moteur) is BirtEngine.
You have setting a Engine (Moteur) equals Dashboard Internal Engine and it isn't correct.

Bye
From the log it seems that you have assigned to a Boolean variable an Integer. I suggest you do a check of all associations in the report.

Bye
You should apply directly to the Birt community to find additional information on the bug.

Similar issue is:

This appears to be a bug.
The bug is logged at:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=321144
Do you have tried to run the report in Auto layout modality? Because it seems that the problem is caused by null values in the report.
